About the program
What is Detox America?
Detox America is a 7-module environmental health education program produced by IPAK-EDU. Each module is a live Zoom session covering one environment — starting with your home, then school, playground, air, water, food, and policy. Module 1 (Detox Your Home) covers 8 Topics including indoor air, water quality, food packaging, cleaners, EMF, mold, hobby exposures, and combustion sources. Participants earn a certificate after completing each module’s self-assessment, plus a program completion certificate after all 7 modules.
What is a Topic?
Each module is divided into Topics — focused sections covering a specific source of toxicant exposure within that module’s environment. For example, Module 1 (Detox Your Home) has 8 Topics: Indoor Air & Dust Control, Water Quality, Food Packaging, Cleaners & Chemicals, EMF Hygiene, Mold & Moisture, Hobby Exposures, and Combustion & Radon. The instructor guides you through each Topic during the live session, explaining the science and what you can do about it.
What is a Detox Upgrade?
A Detox Upgrade is a specific, practical action you can take to reduce a toxicant exposure in your environment. After each session, your module resource page includes a curated list of Detox Upgrades for that module — things like switching to a water filter, replacing a cleaning product, improving ventilation, or testing for radon. You choose 1–3 to implement at your own pace. There is no deadline and no requirement to do all of them. The self-assessment asks what you tried and what you observed.
Is this a medical or detox program?
No. Detox America is an environmental health education program. It teaches evidence-informed strategies for identifying and reducing unnecessary toxicant exposures in the home and community. It is not a medical treatment, a clinical detoxification protocol, or a substitute for professional medical advice. Nothing in the curriculum is intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any health condition.
How many modules are there and how long does the program take?
There are 7 modules. You complete them in order at your own pace — each module requires attending a live Zoom session (approximately 60–90 minutes) and submitting a self-assessment. You can move through modules quickly or take months. There is no deadline.
What does $45 include?
Your $45 enrollment covers access to all 7 live Zoom sessions, all 7 module certificates, the program completion certificate, and lifetime access to the recorded session videos (unlocked one module at a time as you complete self-assessments).
Sessions and scheduling
How do I register for a session?
After enrolling, go to the Register for a Module page. Module 1 (Detox Your Home) is open to all enrolled participants. For Modules 2–7 you will need your certificate code from the previous module to verify completion. Once verified, you can browse all available sessions for that module and register for any that fits your schedule.
When will sessions for Modules 2–7 be available?
Module 1 is open now. Sessions for Modules 2–7 will be posted as each module opens and certified instructors schedule sessions. Since instructors are graduates who have completed the modules themselves, each new module opens as the first cohort progresses through the program. There is no fixed timeline — check the registration page for the latest available sessions.
Do I have to use the same instructor for all modules?
No. Each module session is offered by various certified Detox America instructors. You can attend any available session for each module — you are not locked to one instructor throughout the program.
What if I miss a session?
Sessions are offered regularly by multiple instructors. If you miss one, simply register for the next available session for that module. You will also receive access to the recorded video for any module you have certified.
Certificates and video access
How do I earn my module certificate?
After attending your module session, you will receive a link to the self-assessment for that module. Once you submit it and the program administrator reviews it, your certificate is issued by email. The certificate email also includes the Vimeo password to access the recorded session video.
How long does it take to receive my certificate?
Certificates are typically issued within 1–3 business days of submitting your self-assessment. If you have not received it after 3 days, please contact us at detoxamerica2026@gmail.com.
Becoming an instructor
Can I teach Detox America?
Yes. After completing any module, you can choose to teach that module yourself. There is no obligation and no deadline — it is entirely your decision. Graduates who personally enroll and guide at least 5 participants become eligible for full Instructor designation. You do not need to complete all 7 modules first.
